Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 May 2026

This cookie policy explains how Wild Fox Pilates Limited ("Wild Fox", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on wildfoxpilates.co.uk. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to make them work, work better or provide information to the website owner. Similar technologies — such as web beacons, pixels, local storage and tracking scripts — do much the same job. In this policy we use the word "cookies" to cover all of them.

Cookies do not contain any information that personally identifies you on their own, but personal information that we hold about you may be linked to information stored in or obtained from them.

2. The categories of cookies we use

We group cookies into four categories.

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the website to work. They let you log in, hold your basket, remember preferences such as language, and keep the site secure. These cookies are always on — you cannot turn them off because the site would not function without them.

Functional cookies remember choices you make to give you a better experience, such as remembering you have already accepted the cookie banner.

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, where people drop off, and how they found us — so we can improve it. These only run if you give consent.

Marketing cookies are set by us and our advertising partners (Google and Meta) so we can measure ad performance and reach you with more relevant ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram. These only run if you give consent.

3. Specific cookies and tools we use

The exact list of cookies set on your device depends on the pages you visit and the choices you make in our cookie banner. The main ones are:

If we add or change any cookies, we will update this table.

4. Enhanced Conversions and Conversions API

We use Google's Enhanced Conversions and Meta's Conversions API to make our advertising more accurate and reduce wasted spend. With your consent, when you complete a booking or sign up, we share a hashed (one-way encrypted) version of your email address and phone number with Google and Meta so they can match the action to the ad you saw.

The information sent is hashed before it leaves our systems, which means Google and Meta cannot read it back into your original details. We only do this if you have accepted marketing cookies in our consent banner.

You can switch this off at any time by changing your cookie preferences (see section 6).

5. Legal basis for using cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure website.

All other cookies — analytics and marketing — are set on the basis of your consent, given through our cookie banner the first time you visit the site. We will not set these cookies until you choose "Accept" or update your preferences.

This approach reflects the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, both of which require consent for non-essential cookies.

6. How to manage your cookies

You can change your mind at any time. There are two ways to do this.

On our website, click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page (or re-open the cookie banner). You can switch each category on or off and save your preferences.

In your browser, you can block or delete cookies using your browser settings. The instructions are slightly different in each browser:

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the site working — for example, you may not be able to book or stay logged in.

You can also opt out of personalised ads directly with the providers:

7. International transfers

Some of the cookies and tools listed above (Google, Meta, Stripe, Kit, Mariana Tek) involve transferring information to the United States and other countries. We rely on the same safeguards described in our Privacy Policy — the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, Standard Contractual Clauses and, where relevant, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this cookie policy from time to time, particularly when we add or remove tools. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when it last changed.
